David Harvey is the firm’s founder and managing partner. He focuses his practice on civil litigation, business law, real estate, and labor/employment law.  David has extensive experience with corporate clients ranging from one-man shops to Fortune 500 companies.  Additionally, he has worked with various municipalities, high ranking municipal officials, and union employees across Northern Ohio in litigation and labor matters. David has appeared in State and Federal Courts and arbitration panels throughout Ohio as well as out-of-state venues including, but not limited to, New York, Georgia, and West Virginia. David also has successfully appeared and argued in State and Federal Appellate Courts throughout Ohio dozens of times and is thankful for his winning record in these courts. David’s experience has also led him to advocate for his clients in both federal and state-level administrative hearings.

 

David’s prior professional experience as a family business owner gives him a very unique perspective in helping his clients navigate today’s legal and business climate.  David not only strives to provide quality legal advice, but also aims to be a “value add” for all his business clients while also helping them grow and protect their futures.  His business services include, but are certainly not limited to, contract drafting and review, real estate document preparation, employee matters and discipline, litigation support, risk assessment, in-house investigations and trainings, and outside general counsel-related activities.

 

In addition to representing a vast array of businesses and entrepreneurs, David also represents individuals and families needing assistance with a variety of civil law matters and estate planning needs. Regardless of the client, David strives to provide his services in an efficient, courteous, and cost-effective manner.

 

David is a graduate of Strongsville High School (1996), Wittenberg University (2000-BA Management) and the Cleveland Marshall College of Law (2006-Cum Laude). David is a lifelong Clevelander who lives by the motto that “90% of life is showing up.”  He also enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, boating, and rooting on the local sports teams. David is a member of the Strongsville City Club and also volunteers his time at various local organizations.
